Returns & Refunds Policy

This policy applies only to products purchased directly through DuRoBo official channels: our official website and DuRoBo’s Kickstarter campaign page. If your product was purchased through third-party platforms or resellers, please contact them directly for after-sales service.

Eligibility

Customers are eligible for a return only if all of the following conditions are met:
1. 30-Day Return Period: Customers may request a return within 30 days of receipt.
2. Quality Issues: Products with verified quality issues, not caused by improper handling or misuse, are eligible for return or exchange.
3. Return Conditions: The product must remain in its original condition and fully functional. This includes the device, original packaging, accessories, manuals, and all included materials, which must be intact and free from damage that would affect resale.

Situations Not Covered

A return or exchange cannot be processed under any of the circumstances listed below:
1. Requests made beyond the 30-day return window.
2. Purchases not made directly from DuRoBo or without valid proof of purchase (e.g., tampered or falsified invoice/order number).
3. Damage caused by customer misuse, drops, liquid intrusion, unauthorized modifications, or other human factors.
4. Products repaired or altered by unauthorized third parties.

Refund Types

Refund Type Applicable Situations
Full Refund

- The device is defective upon arrival or fails to function properly.

- Wrong item received.

- Order canceled before shipping.

Partial Refund

- Product returned for personal reasons.

- Product inspected and found free of quality issues, yet the customer still requests a return.

- Missing accessories or damaged packaging will result in a partial refund based on their assessed value.

Important Note:

1. If a package shows obvious shipping damage upon delivery, please refuse the package, take photos as evidence, and contact customer service immediately. We will arrange a replacement or refund once the damaged item is returned and verified.
2. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled. If the order has not yet been packed or dispatched, we can cancel it and issue a full refund.

Return Process

1. Please confirm that you meet the return conditions listed above.
2. Contact support@durobo.com to submit your return request.
3. After approval, customer service will provide the return address and shipping instructions.
4. Ship the product back as instructed. Upon receipt, we will inspect the item (typically within 7–15 business days).
5. If approved, we will initiate a refund within 8 business days via the original payment method.

Shipping & Fees

All shipping and return-related fees are outlined below. Any transaction fees from currency conversion, as well as customs duties, are the responsibility of the customer. Returns that do not match the original purchase details may be subject to additional charges.

Orders are shipped from our Hong Kong warehouse. Customers are responsible for covering the round-trip shipping costs.

Receipt Charge

$15 Only charged when the package has been opened.

Restocking Fee

15% of the sale price Only charged when the returned product shows scratches.

Package Fee

$10 Only charged when the packaging is missing or severely damaged.
