Our latest software update 1.1 for Krono introduces flexible reading controls, wireless file transfer, saved Spark summaries, and an optimized, more refined bookshelf and interface—all designed to make your Krono experience calmer and connected. Read: Smarter, Flexible Styling Reading now feels smoother than ever. The new tabbed style menu makes customizing fonts and layouts effortless. Adjust font weight, alignment, and margins on every side — top, bottom, left, and right — for a perfectly balanced page. The text direction indicator icon gets a fresh, cleaner look. The bookshelf now only displays standard book files by default. To view everything, enable Show extra file types on shelf in Settings. The reading progress bar will appear only on books you’ve opened, to accurately reflect your reading journey. Transfer: Seamless Wireless Sharing Meet Transfer, a fast and cable-free way to share files. Connect Krono and the computer to the same network, then enter the URL displayed on Krono in the computer's browser, and you can start wireless file transfer. Launch it from the Transfer app, toggle it in Control Center, or tap Import with Transfer on an empty bookshelf. Spark: Always Accessible Your transcriptions and AI summaries now stay saved, ready to revisit anytime. If you’d like to refine a result, simply use the new Re-transcribe or Re-summarize options. UI & UX: Clearer and More Consistent In Settings, we've refreshed the Storage icon and renamed it Files for better clarity. Spark voice memos and exported text files are now saved in a dedicated Spark folder in Files, keeping all your ideas organized. Refresh Modes: Clarity, Speed, and Quality Three new refresh modes have been added to Control Center to optimize your viewing experience across different scenarios. Simply pull down the Control Center to switch between modes and select the one that best suits your content. Haptic Feedback for Smart Dial Smart Dial now features haptic feedback with every rotation, delivering a precise, tactile experience. This preference can be toggled off at any time in Settings > Smart Dial. App Icon Customization While maintaining Krono's minimalist design, we have added the option to choose your preferred icon style. You can now switch between Original and Minimalist letter styles via the menu in the App Drawer. Expanded Language Support This update adds support for Chinese and Japanese, making Krono accessible to more users globally. If you encounter any localization issues, please let us know via Settings > Feedback. Zoom Support in Read You can now seamlessly zoom in and out of PDF pages and images within the Read app for a clearer view. Spark: Copy and Edit Workflow in Spark has been improved. After transcribing voice memos, you can now edit the text before exporting, or copy the transcription and AI summaries directly to other apps. UI & UX Refinements Includes various UI adjustments, text refinements, and fixes for known issues to enhance overall system stability and user experience.
